Roger Simon, the co-founder of PJ Media and author of the newly-launched Substack “American Refugees,” said Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ apparent false story about working at McDonald’s in her youth demonstrates how she is not “in touch with reality” or the American people.
Harris has claimed that she worked at a McDonald’s in Alameda, California while in high school where she “did the fries” before doing “the cashier.”
However, an extensive investigative effort conducted by the Washington Free Beacon did not find any evidence of the vice president’s work history at the fast food chain.
Simon, on Friday’s edition of The Michael Patrick Leahy Show, said Harris’ apparent lie about working at McDonald’s while in high school demonstrates how out of touch she is both with “reality” and the average American.
“She wants to seem like she’s more of the people than she was. That’s the obvious. The second thing is, I don’t think this woman is in touch with reality…She just says stuff…You’re not dealing with a rocket scientist here. She didn’t go to Stanford,” Simon said.
Simon went on to point out how the public “doesn’t know a lot of things” about Harris, adding, “What we do know is so clearly that this is not a human being that should be president of the United States.”
In terms of her intelligence, Simon said unlike incumbent Joe Biden, whose “cognitive problems” were brought on “with age,” Harris’ problems are due to her “limited intellect.”
“The people who vote for her because she’s a woman are morons. They are. There’ve been so many great women who’ve led… And then [to say] that Harris is our first female president, this is ridiculous,” Simon said.
“It’s kind of frightening when you think about it. If you care about this country and you care about the world…Western civilization is hanging by a thread, and that thread is the United States,” Simon added.
