Gulbransen on Gloria Johnson Senate Bid: You Don’t Tug on Superman’s Cape, You Don’t Mess with Marsha Blackburn When You’re a Marxist

Jul 25, 2023

Official guest host of The Tennessee Star Report and executive director of the Faith and Freedom Coalition Tennessee Aaron Gulbransen joined Michael Patrick Leahy in-studio Tuesday to discuss the purported U.S. Senate candidacy of the far-left Democrat State Representative Gloria Johnson (D-Knoxville).

Gulbransen took the opportunity to remind listeners of Johnson’s liberal bona fides and Marsha Blackburn’s ferocity on the campaign trail.

TRANSCRIPT

Aaron Gulbransen: Many of you have already seen the news reports that Marxist Communist crazy State Representative Gloria Johnson will be announcing her run against Marsha Blackburn in the Race for U.S. Senate in 2024.

My snap reaction to that one is: you don’t tug on Superman’s cape; you don’t spit in the wind; and you don’t mess with Marsha Blackburn when you’re a Marxist Communist.

Gloria Johnson stands against everything the state of Tennessee stands for.

She is anti-right to life. She is a Marxist Communist. She is an avowed Black Lives Matter activist. She was, in my personal opinion, a low-level, lousy teacher when she was a teacher.

She, of course, many of you are aware of her role in the near-riot that was staged in the Capitol.

She wants to take away every last one of your Second Amendment rights – most of your constitutional rights.

She says the most inflammatory things under the sun; runs and speaks to the far-left of Karl Marx, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer combined, probably makes the so-called president and leader of China seem conservative.

She is out of touch with the state of Tennessee. Her campaign is about to be the nastiest campaign you’ve ever seen. It’s gonna be well-funded by DC interests who are trying to draw the state of Tennessee to the left. But Tennesseans are too smart for Gloria Johnson. They know they deserve better.

There’s not really a lot of in-depth analysis that needs to be done at this state and age, except – spoiler alert – it appears, and hopefully this, maybe, changes their plans – it appears that, and the rumor mill says, that Gloria Johnson’s gonna make her official announcement the day before the special session starts, which is scheduled to start on the 21st, which would mean Gloria’s announcement would be on the 20th.

Maybe she will switch it up a bit and launch it from the middle of the special session standing next to David Hogg, Justin Jones, and Justin Pearson.

So my conclusion on this, and this really, really a question, and since I’m in a froggy mood, I’ll paraphrase Hollywood Hulk Hogan, which is:

Gloria Johnson, Marxist Democrats – whatcha you gonna do when Marsha Blackburn runs wild on you? Whatcha you gonna do when Marsha Blackburn gives Gloria Johnson the drubbing she so richly deserves?

Roger Simon on Pro-Hamas, Anti-Israel Protests on College Campuses: ‘What Happened in Germany in 1937’ Is ‘What We’re Undergoing Now’

Roger Simon, the co-founder of PJMedia and current columnist for The Epoch Times, said the pro-Hamas protests unfolding on Ivy League college campuses across the nation are comparable to the scene in Germany in 1937.

Simon made the comments on Tuesday’s episode of The Michael Patrick Leahy Show after listening to audio of a clip taken from Columbia University where pro-Palestine protesters formed a human chain to keep Jewish students out of an encampment on the university’s campus.

NewsChannel 5’s Phil Williams Refuses to Explain His Failure to Get Justin Jones on the Record about Allegations He Covered Up Report of 2020 Sexual Assault, Tries to Distract with False Claims About Tennessee Star Reporter

Tom Pappert, lead reporter at The Tennessee Star, addressed personal attacks from NewsChannel 5’s chief investigative reporter Phil Williams over the weekend, saying such attacks are “absolute silliness” and a common tactic used by Williams when pressed on his “journalistic failings.”

On Sunday, Pappert reported on an interview between Williams and Dan Mandis, host of Nashville’s Morning News with Dan Mandis on SuperTalk 99.7 WTN, where Williams said that he once asked Tennessee State Representative Justin Jones (D-Nashville) to respond to claims made by his former close colleague Jeneisha Harris on June 18, 2020 that the state lawmaker had covered up the sexual assault of two protesters by a homeless man.
